Blueberry smoothie bowl with optional Trix πŸ˜‰

I eat healthy all the time. I really do, but the fact of the matter is I have a sweet tooth and being around kids constantly keeps me deep into the kid food culture. Enter trix. My second favorite sugar loaded cereal, only second to lucky charms, naturally. While in healthy mode today I was making myself an antioxidant packed blueberry smoothie bowl, and opened the pantry to look for a crunchy topping. No granola in sight, and I'm not a big fan of seeds, but then I saw the trix. I quickly talked myself out of it.... and then back into it. Whatever. That's life, a smoothie bowl with trix, it's called balance. And let me tell you, it was such an amazing treat!! It was so fresh and delicious but with a sweet little crunchy topping. What a delight. I was in such a hurry to eat it I only took one picture. 

For the Smoothie bowl:

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 cup frozen blueberries 

1 frozen banana

1/4 cup pomegranate juice

1/4 cup acai juice

1/2 cup vanilla almond milk

Top with additional blueberries, and if you're feeling adventurous, one heaping cup of trix cereal.
